We are proud to announce that we are nominated for awards in the category ‘B2C and two Coronation nominations for Creation – one for our podcast, The Brief, and one for the vlogseries ‘Laura’s Powermaand’. It’s rewarding that the jury of marketing specialists chose three of our cases that are very different in scope. It endorses our ability and expertise in a wide range of content marketing skills.

The nominated cases

In the category ‘B2C’ our work for Samsung and Google is in the running. Samsung came to us wanting to optimize and increase the market penetration of the Dutch Android market. After a research conducted by the electronic concern it became clear that smartphone users were hardly aware that their phone had the Android operating system. Let alone aware of all options Android, and in particular Samsung, devices, have to offer.

Awareness through support content

Due to these insights we chose not to focus on hero or hub content, but rather on hygiene content. We developed a hygiene content strategy with a main objective; to showcase all the extensive possibilities of Samsung devices, and Android in general.

A platform that shows & tells

We created a content brand and platform: A dedicated YouTube-channel and video website, Android & You, where all the different features and options are presented through How-To videos. This resulted in a significant increase in their most important qualitative parameters, as well as NPS and PTO (‘Proud to own a Samsung device’) scores.

A podcast that examines and informs

For the Coronation – Creative Podcast award, it is The Brief that has a shot. The Brief is our, already awarded, podcast about content, marketing and media. Founded from the idea that as a content marketing agency we should have some proper content of our own. That’s when we introduced The Brief. The bi-weekly podcast consists of trends, relevant content and an interview with a notable figure from the world of marketing, media and content.

A vlog to discover and experience

The second Coronation award is in the category ‘Vlogseries’, where ‘Laura’s Powermaand’ is representing our agency. The vlogseries was created with the Ministry of Defense, Initiative and Steam. One of the editors of NSMBL, Laura, is a chaotic person with a busy, and not always healthy, social life in Amsterdam. It was time for a change. Together with an employee of the Ministry they started her month of Power. Coaching her to gain all the key qualities of people working at Defense: structure, routine, getting rid of bad habits, perseverance , discipline and leadership. In doing so, showcasing and creating awareness of what their job requires and entitles.

The winners will be announced on the 22th of November during the Grand Prix Content Marketing Awards 2018. Fingers crossed!
