For Ask Team Clean we are looking for a global Editor-in-Chief. He or she runs the daily operations and manages the content teams on a global scale. This includes reviewing all content produced, such as articles, videos and photographs, developing strategies and style guidelines. The role

For this platform we are looking for a global Editor-in-Chief. The Editor-in chief runs the daily operations and manages the content teams on a global scale. This includes reviewing all content produced, such as articles, videos and photographs, developing strategies and style guidelines.

Responsibilities Editor-in-Chief

• Is responsible for the final product, this includes the content production, content distribution and platform/content optimization

• Is leading in shaping, improving and protecting the editorial direction and tone of voice of the Ask Team Clean brand throughout all digital publications

• Is involved in budgeting and strategic planning

• Is responsible for concepting new content formats

• Is responsible for the creative rollout of Ask Team Clean into new markets

• Writes the playbooks (social, video etc.)

• Creative guidance of the local teams launching Ask Team Clean

• Checks and edits individual articles if necessary

• Writes an occasional column or editorial piece expressing Ask Team Clean’s position and philosophy

• Writes and coordinates all the hub content (e.g. interviews)

Requirements Editor-in-Chief

• Digital publishing knowledge

• Translate data & insights into new ideas

• Networking and interpersonal skills

• At least five years of experience with an editorial team in a journalistic environment

• Strong leadership qualities

• Excellent writing and editing skills in English. Dutch and German is a plus

• Experience with storytelling across different media

• Excellent time management and organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure and according to prioritization

• A good understanding of the laundry & homecare industry, or eager to learn

• Experienced in working for a FMCG clients is a must

• Skilled in the use of CMS (Adobe Experience Manager)
